How to Invest in Anduril Stock Before It Goes Public

Discover Anduril's private-market investment landscape, valuation, and the options available for investors seeking pre-IPO exposure.

How to Invest in Anduril Stock Before It Goes Public

Anduril Industries has become the default way investors express a view on defense technology — and one of the clearest cases of a company whose leadership is in no hurry to let the public in.

That combination is what makes the pre-IPO question worth asking properly.

Where Anduril stands in 2026

Anduril raised $5 billion at a $61 billion post-money valuation, announced 13 May 2026, led by returning investors Thrive Capital and Andreessen Horowitz. That doubled the $30.5 billion mark set in June 2025 and brought total capital raised past $11 billion. Revenue for 2025 was $2.2 billion, more than double the prior year.

In March 2026 the company was awarded a $20 billion, ten-year enterprise ordering agreement with the U.S. Army covering its Lattice command-and-control suite, with completion estimated in 2036. In August it was reported to be redesigning technology for the Army's Soldier Borne Mission Command program.

Reuters reported in July that Anduril was in talks to raise at a $100 billion valuation. Anduril publicly pushed back: no decisions had been made about any future financing, and anyone claiming to know terms was "speculating or misinformed." Treat that number as unconfirmed.

Why there is no IPO date

Most pre-IPO coverage assumes every private company is straining toward a listing. Anduril's leadership has said something closer to the opposite.

Speaking at Sun Valley in July 2026, CEO Brian Schimpf indicated the company was in no rush to list in the middle of a hype cycle. Founder Palmer Luckey has said Anduril will definitely go public eventually — eventually being the operative word.

For an investor, that has a specific consequence. There is no catalyst date to underwrite: if your thesis depends on an IPO unlocking your position, Anduril is a poor fit for it. If your thesis is that a defense-software platform with a ten-year federal ordering agreement compounds regardless of when it lists, the absence of a date matters less — but you need an access route that does not require an exit event to be worth anything.

Why this exposure has been hard to reach

Buying Anduril stock the conventional way means accredited-investor status with documentary proof, tickets that commonly start around $100,000, board consent and rights of first refusal on any transfer, and settlement measured in weeks.

Then it means waiting — and this is where Anduril differs from almost every other name in this category. There is no catalyst date. Most private-market positions are held on the assumption that an IPO eventually converts them, and Anduril's leadership has been clear that it is in no hurry, so a conventional locked position has no defined route out.

That is precisely the problem tokenized exposure solves.

How OpenStocks gives you Anduril exposure

Anduril is one of four products live in the OpenStocks app, as oANDURIL — a source-verified BEP-20 contract on BNB Chain providing tokenized price exposure to Anduril. If the instrument type is unfamiliar, read what tokenized pre-IPO stocks are first.

How you transact matters here: OpenStocks issues the token but is not the exchange: the Trade action routes you out to PancakeSwap, 0x, 1inch, ParaSwap or an in-wallet swap on Bitget, Binance, OKX or Gate, and you fund the purchase with USDT on BNB Chain. The token price in the app is the live USDT-quoted price from PancakeSwap Infinity.

Eligibility first: OpenStocks is not available in the United States, to U.S. persons, or to other ineligible individuals.

Three things follow from the design, and each maps directly onto a barrier above.

Fractional sizing: exposure is denominated in tokens, not $100,000 blocks. That changes who can hold a position at all, and how it can be scaled.

No dependence on an exit event: because the token trades on-chain rather than sitting in a locked private position, you are not waiting for a tender offer or a listing to adjust your exposure. For a company whose CEO is explicitly deferring an IPO, that is the whole point.

Documented protections: OpenStocks states that positions are overcollateralized with pre-IPO equity, with risk-management protocols governing deposited funds. The lending and liquidation framework — health factors, margin calls, loan maturities and atomic split handling — is set out in how lending against pre-IPO exposure works.

The product page carries the full data set: token price and mark price, implied valuation and mark valuation, premium percentage, 30-day change, 24-hour volume, pool liquidity, 24-hour trade count and the contract address on BscScan — every figure you would want, published in one place and verifiable on-chain. The audit reports behind the contracts sit in the platform's Security Center, including an independent QuillAudits review, with all high findings listed as resolved. The page also carries a curated news feed for the company, which for a defense contractor is more useful than it sounds — contract awards and program decisions are the fundamentals here.

Reading the premium on a defense name

One habit worth building: check the premium percentage before the token price.

The premium tells you the gap between what the token trades at and the mark price. A wide positive premium on a name like Anduril usually means a news cycle — a contract award, a funding rumour — has pulled buyers in faster than liquidity can absorb them. A negative premium means the reverse. Neither is a verdict on Anduril. Both are information about the venue you are trading in, and both affect what you pay.

Compare the implied valuation against the last confirmed round of $61 billion. If the token implies materially more, you are paying for the reported — and company-downplayed — $100 billion round to be real. That may prove correct. It is still a position you should take deliberately rather than by accident.

Where Anduril fits in a portfolio

Anduril is the defense-technology position in the OpenStocks roster, and it behaves differently from the others. Revenue is contracted and long-dated — the Army enterprise agreement runs to 2036 — which makes it the most visible-fundamentals name of the four, even without public reporting.

That gives it a distinct role alongside the frontier-AI and hard-technology names. For sector-adjacent exposure with a different profile, see how to invest in Neuralink pre-IPO; for the company closest to a listing, see our Anthropic guide.

FAQ

Eventually, per its founder — but no filing or timeline exists, and its CEO warned in July 2026 against listing into a hype cycle.

What is Anduril's valuation?

$61 billion post-money as of 13 May 2026. A $100 billion round was reported in July but is unconfirmed and was publicly downplayed by the company.

Can I buy Anduril shares without being accredited?

Not the shares. Fractional tokenized exposure is available to eligible non-U.S. users on platforms such as OpenStocks.

Does Anduril pay dividends?

No, and tokenized exposure confers no dividend rights in any case.

FAQ

When is the Anthropic IPO?

No date has been set publicly. Anthropic confirmed a confidential draft S-1 submission on 1 June 2026; reporting has pointed to a possible autumn 2026 listing, but neither pricing nor share count has been confirmed.

What is Anthropic's valuation?

$965 billion post-money, per the Series H announced 28 May 2026. Secondary-market and token-implied valuations move independently of that figure.

Can I buy Anthropic shares directly as a retail investor?

Not the actual shares, in most cases. Direct secondaries require accreditation and six-figure minimums. Fractional and tokenized routes offer economic exposure instead.

Is OpenStocks available in the US?

No. OpenStocks is not available in the United States, to U.S. persons, or to other ineligible individuals.
