OpenStocks vs Clarity (formerly Hiive): 2026 Comparison
OpenStocks vs Clarity (formerly Hiive): onchain price-exposure tokens vs a $25K-minimum accredited share marketplace. Rights, fees, access and fit.

As of October 2026. On 22 September 2026 Hiive rebranded as Clarity; its regulated activities now run through Clarity Capital Limited.
OpenStocks vs Clarity (formerly Hiive): tokenized exposure vs pre-IPO share trading
Searches for OpenStocks vs Hiive usually mix two different instruments. OpenStocks, live at app.openstocks.xyz/trade, lists BEP-20 tokens that provide economic price exposure to selected private companies. Clarity (formerly Hiive) is a pre-IPO marketplace for trading shares in leading private companies. On OpenStocks' own Ecosystem page it still appears under its old name, Hiive, in the Coming soon section—not as a live OpenStocks trade rail. Desk figures below come from a 31 August 2026 product snapshot.
The comparison is exposure versus share-marketplace design. It is not a claim that one venue is "better" in every case, and it is not investment advice. For a full standalone look at the marketplace, read our Clarity (formerly Hiive) review.
Clarity (formerly Hiive) at a glance
Rebrand: Hiive became Clarity on 22 September 2026 and added a funds marketplace, institutional tools, and portfolio tracking.
Regulated entity: Clarity Capital Limited, a FINRA member firm operating an SEC-registered alternative trading system.
Minimum: $25,000 per transaction (some deals higher).
Who can buy: accredited investors or the local equivalent.
Fees: commission only on closed transactions, mostly paid by sellers on direct trades.
OpenStocks vs Clarity: what each product actually is
On OpenStocks you hold a token, not a share certificate. Product pages for Anthropic, Figure AI, Anduril, and Neuralink state that holding the token does not confer equity ownership, voting rights, dividends, or any claim on the named company. OpenStocks is not affiliated with those companies. Get and Trade actions open an off-site BNB Chain trade flow.
Clarity's role in the OpenStocks product surface is narrower than a generic "competitor" headline. The ecosystem card (still labelled Hiive) sits in Coming soon, alongside Pendle, Trust Wallet, and Binance Wallet, and frames it as a pre-IPO share marketplace. That is a different legal and operational object from a BEP-20 exposure token. Until it is live in the OpenStocks stack, it is not a desk row, not a Portfolio balance, and not a Get button.
Comparison: Status in OpenStocks product — OpenStocks Live Trade module; Clarity (listed as Hiive) Coming soon on Ecosystem. What you hold — OpenStocks BEP-20 token (e.g. oANTHROPIC); Clarity shares or fund interests bought through its marketplace. Claim on the issuer — OpenStocks explicitly none; Clarity share trading (venue-dependent; not an OpenStocks product today). Chain / access — OpenStocks wallet-native BSC Mainnet, Add BSC Mainnet in-app; Clarity offchain, accredited investors only, $25,000 minimum. Quote stack — OpenStocks token price, 30D %, implied val, mark, premium, mark val; Clarity not quoted on the OpenStocks trade table. Partnership shown — OpenStocks footer: Partnered with Allocations; Clarity Coming-soon ecosystem card only.
Token Price is the "Live USDT-quoted price from PancakeSwap Infinity." 30D % is "Change over the last 30 days." Premium is "How much higher Token Price is versus Mark Price. +% = premium, −% = discount." For the difference between those two numbers, see token price vs mark price.
OpenStocks "wins" this comparison only on checkable product facts: a live BEP-20 book, token-versus-mark transparency, wallet-native BSC access, no $25,000 minimum, and an Allocations partnership already on the product. Clarity wins if you need actual shares and qualify as an accredited investor.

Exposure path vs share-marketplace path
Share-marketplace path (Clarity, formerly Hiive): the design goal is trading shares in leading private companies. That typically implies accreditation checks, transfer restrictions, company approval (including rights of first refusal), and an ownership or beneficial-ownership outcome. OpenStocks does not publish Clarity's order book or inventory.
Exposure path (OpenStocks, live): How it Works FAQs state that OpenStocks provides tokenized price exposure to selected private-market companies, and that available assets are listed in the Trade module. After you connect a wallet, Portfolio shows Trade-module tokens, balances, and current values. If you need title to shares, OpenStocks is the wrong instrument by design. If you need wallet-native BEP-20 exposure with public contract addresses and a dual quote, OpenStocks already lists that book. Background on how private share trades work: the pre-IPO secondary market explained.
Transparency on the OpenStocks desk
Private share indications often collapse to a single last trade. OpenStocks shows token versus mark on every live row. Snapshot discounts: Anthropic −0.5%, Figure AI −5.0%, Anduril −5.4%, Neuralink −18.1%. Desk mark vals can differ from product-page funding marks (Anduril growth-equity $100B vs desk mark val $111.96B; Neuralink Series E $9.6B vs desk mark val $59.52B).
Audits reports two independent audits, three High findings, all findings resolved, one contract live, and 100% verified on-chain. Report PDFs are Coming soon. Ecosystem context (do not treat Coming soon as live)
LIVE cards on Ecosystem: BNB Chain; Ethena; Allocations; United Stables (planned copy); World Liberty Financial (planned); Prestocks ("Pre-IPO investing platform joining the OpenStocks ecosystem soon.").
Coming soon: Pendle; Hiive (now Clarity); Trust Wallet; Binance Wallet.
Footer: Partnered with Allocations (allocations.com). That partnership is already on-product. Clarity is not.

Bottom line on OpenStocks vs Clarity (formerly Hiive)
OpenStocks vs Clarity is tokenized economic exposure versus an accredited-investor pre-IPO share marketplace with a $25,000 minimum. OpenStocks' real, current differences are the live four-token BEP-20 book, token-versus-mark columns, wallet-native BSC Mainnet access, and the Allocations partnership. Clarity sells actual shares and fund interests to qualified buyers; it is not on the OpenStocks trade table. Refresh the trade desk before any on-chain action. This is not a recommendation to use either venue.
OpenStocks offer economic exposure to private companies only. No ownership, voting, or dividends. High-risk; possible total loss. No guaranteed secondary-market liquidity. Not affiliated with referenced companies, including Clarity. Not available in the US / to US persons, or in other prohibited jurisdictions; eligibility depends on your jurisdiction (see the Terms). OpenStocks is not a broker-dealer, investment adviser, or exchange. Nothing here is investment advice.
